 Custom Wig Policy (PLEASE READ)

All wigs are custom-made to order using professional hybrid construction.

Final Sale – No Exceptions

Because each wig is made specifically for the customer:

• All custom wig sales are final

• No cancellations, refunds, or exchanges once production begins

• No chargebacks for fit, sizing, construction method, processing time, delivery issues caused by customer error, or personal preference

 Chargeback Waiver

By placing an order, the customer agrees not to file chargebacks related to:

• Processing time

• Fit, sizing, or measurements

• Construction method

• Shipping issues caused by incorrect address, refusal, or non-pickup

• Personal preference or allergic reactions

Fraudulent chargebacks will be disputed with evidence including policy acceptance, tracking confirmation, and customer communication.

Wig Construction Method

Wigs by Shanai uses a hybrid professional construction method:

• Majority of the wig is machine sewn

• Lace closures and frontals are hand sewn and reinforced

This method is intentional and designed for durability.

Machine sewing is not a defect and does not qualify for refunds, disputes, or remakes.

 Glueless Wigs & Adhesive Disclaimer

• Most wigs are glueless and designed for secure wear using adjustable straps and elastic

• Frontal wigs may require adhesive depending on installation preference

• Adhesive choice, application, and removal are the customer’s responsibility

 Measurements & Fit Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate:

• Head circumference

• Front-to-nape

• Ear-to-ear

• Cap size selection

Wigs by Shanai is not responsible for fit issues caused by:

• Incorrect measurements

• Choosing the wrong cap or unit type

• Failure to follow measuring instructions

Incorrect Size or Fit

If a wig does not fit due to customer-provided measurements:

• No refunds

• No free remakes

• Alterations (if possible) may be offered for a fee

• Customer is responsible for all shipping costs

Fit preference is not considered a defect.

Lace Cutting & Installation Disclaimer

Once lace is:

• Cut

• Customized

• Installed

• Altered in any way

The wig is no longer eligible for review, replacement, or adjustment.

Wigs by Shanai is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation or lace cutting.

Styling, Wear & Maintenance

Wigs by Shanai is not responsible for issues caused by:

• Improper installation or removal

• Heat damage, chemical processing, coloring, or over-styling

• Lack of proper maintenance

Normal shedding, tangling, and frizz over time are expected and not defects.

 Density, Length, Texture & Color Disclaimer

• Curly and wavy textures appear shorter and may shrink when wet

• Density appearance varies by head size and styling

• Hair measurements are taken while straight and unstyled

• Color may vary due to lighting, photography, or screen settings

These variations do not qualify for refunds, replacements, or remakes.

 Health & Allergy Disclaimer

Wigs by Shanai is not responsible for:

• Allergic reactions

• Skin irritation or sensitivities

• Reactions to lace, hair, dyes, adhesives, or styling products

Customers are advised to perform a patch test and consult a professional if needed.

Health-related concerns do not qualify for refunds, replacements, or chargebacks.

Processing Time (Custom Orders)

Standard Processing

• Custom wigs: 10–21 business days

• Peak seasons/sales/holidays: up to 25 business days

 

Processing begins once:

• Payment is confirmed

• All measurements and details are received

Incomplete or incorrect information will delay processing.

Processing time is not refundable.

Rush Orders

• Rush service (if available) must be purchased separately

• Limited availability

• Rush fees are non-refundable

 Issue Reporting Window

Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos or video.

Issues reported after this window will not be reviewed.

Shipping, Returns & Address Policy

Signature Required

All orders are shipped USPS with signature confirmation.

Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address.

We are not responsible for:

• Incorrect or incomplete addresses

• Non-pickup

• Refused deliveries

Returned to Sender Packages & Hygiene

Any package returned after leaving our possession is considered hygiene-compromised and cannot be resold as new.

Returned packages are not eligible for refunds.

Available options:

• Reshipment of the same item after payment of all return-to-sender and new shipping fees, or

• Store credit for the product value only (shipping is non-refundable)

Returned to Sender Fee Responsibility

Customers are responsible for all fees associated with returned-to-sender packages, including return postage, carrier fees, and reshipment costs.

If a returned package becomes lost in transit, Wigs by Shanai is not liable for replacement or refund.

Returned Package Hold Policy

Returned packages will be held for 14 calendar days from the date delivery is confirmed back to Wigs by Shanai.

If no action is taken within this timeframe, the order is considered abandoned and closed without refund or credit.

 Shipping Fees & Carrier Responsibility

• Shipping fees are non-refundable

• Reshipping requires payment of a new shipping fee

• Carrier delays, damage, or loss are not our responsibility

• Carrier claims must be filed directly with the shipping provider

 

Shipping Cost Responsibility

All shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer, including:

• Original shipping fees

• Reshipment fees

• Shipping for alterations, adjustments, or courtesy services

Shipping fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Any accommodation, adjustment, or reshipment provided outside of policy is a one-time courtesy and does not establish precedent.

Orders are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
